Year 6 2025-2026

Welcome to Year 6!

Mrs Abbas, Miss Patel and Mrs Ahmed are looking forward to working with you all this year.

Throughout the year, we will be working hard but we also hope to have lots of fun along the way.

Please use the links on this page to see the Year 6 curriculum for 2025-2026 and the current homework grid. English, maths, reading, spelling, punctuation and grammar are taught on a daily basis. Parental support is vital to ensure that children are reading regularly and completing their homework each week too. This way, we can ensure that each child reaches their full potential.

Important info:

• Yoga will take place on Tuesdays and PE lessons on Thursdays; children must bring the correct kit and ensure that earrings and watches have been removed.
• Homework will be set weekly on a Friday (mostly online). This must be completed by the following Thursday.
