Wrap Around Care

In the busy world that we live in, wrap around care is important to us all, no more so than at English Martyrs'.

Breakfast Club

We are very proud to work in partnership with Gregg's The Bakers who fund our Breakfast Club, providing us with bread and also funding to purchase cereals, milk, juice, jam, honey, fruit, toys and games etc for the children.

Our Breakfast Club runs from 8.15am, we have capacity for 36 children and we run the club in the school Hall.

Currently, during the Covid-19 Pandemic, children sit at individual Year Group tables and are collected by their classroom staff at 8.55am, using different exits.

Children have the opportunity to eat a leisurely breakfast whilst chatting with their friends, reading, drawing, making, constructing, playing once they have finished.

If you would like your child to attend, please contact Miss Hankin by phoning the school on 01772 556092.

After School Club

English Martyrs' Catholic Primary School After School Club (ASC) is also a huge success with packed evenings most nights! Miss Hankin is our manager and she is assisted by Mrs Polli and Miss Patel.

We have capacity for 16 children each night. If you wish to reserve a place be sure to speak to Miss Hankin or contact the school office. by phone.

Currently, during the Covid-19 Pandemic, children sit at individual Year Group tables and are brought to the Hall by their classroom staff at the end of their individual school days (children in Years 3, 4 & 5 who have younger or older siblings in classes ending at 3.30pm are able to attend the club free of charge whilst they wait). The cost per session is £6.75 and is paid through Parent Pay. We also accept College Bursaries and Child Care Payments.

The club runs from until 5:30pm (Monday - Thursday) and 5pm on a Friday.

The children have a snack, have opportunities to complete homework, do extra reading, play games, do art & craft activities, draw, paint, make different objects, play with toys and use the Wii for added fun!

Both clubs are part of the school so therefore come under the school's OFSTED umbrella.

If you would like any further information, please contact the school office.
